Promising IP Results From Lac Truite Nickel-Copper Prospect Warrant Follow Up

| | VANCOUVER, BC, November 27, 2007 --Grande Portage Resources Ltd. (TSX-V GPG) ("Grande Portage" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it recently received the results from 16.65 line km of 3-D Induced Polarization Geophysics. The IP survey outlined two semi-circular conductive bodies with corresponding zones of resistivity in the northern and southern portions of the grid that coalesce into a 500 metre to 800 metre wide (east-west) by 2000 metres long (north-south) chargeable body that is evident at 400 metres below surface, the depth limit of the survey. The conductor is still open to depth to the north and south-southeast.
The grid was centered over a silt sample discovery made in 2006. The silt sampling program highlighted an area of multiple drainages reporting elevated nickel, copper, cobalt and chromium at an order of magnitude higher than results from nearby streams. Subsequent prospecting in 2007 led to the discovery of a sulphide-bearing gabbroic body found in a streambed within an area ostensibly of andesitic to basaltic volcanics and limestone. Locally there are mafic intrusive bodies present that have not been mapped at a regional scale. However, the importance here is the geochemical signature and now corresponding geophysical features.
For follow up in 2008, permitting will be submitted for additional geological and geophysical ground work and diamond drilling of the anomalies to further define and explain the feature.
